Stone Draftsman Position

 

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Stone Draftsman with specialist knowledge of stone masonry to join our team on a full-time basis, to help us deliver technically complex and architecturally significant stonework for premium residential, commercial, and bespoke projects.

The role requires the production of accurate, construction-ready stone drawings and close technical coordination with designers, fabricators, and installation teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed stone shop and setting-out drawings

  • Translate architectural and structural designs into buildable stone solutions

  • Coordinate stone detailing with internal teams and external consultants

  • Resolve technical issues relating to fixings, tolerances, and interfaces

  • Maintain drawing quality in line with project specifications and company standards

 

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Stone Draftsman specialising in stone masonry

  • Strong technical understanding of natural stone materials and construction methods

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)

  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently

She has worked with big brand names in the interiors and design industries such as Wedgwood, Denby, Sebastian Conran, Laura Ashley, Hemingway Design, as well as many companies in other sectors. She has been very involved in the tiling and construction industries and has worked with stoneCIRCLE for over 10 years.

Madeleine has a master’s degree in marketing from the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et Commerce International (International School of Management & Business) in Paris.
