three new apprentices

stoneCIRCLE new apprentices

Apprenticeships are as old as the profession of stonemasonry, and we’ve recently taken on three apprentices to learn the trade. We introduce them below.

Libbi Button
CNC Sawyer

Meet Libbi who has been at stoneCIRCLE since December 2023. Libbi already has over two and a half years of hands-on experience in the industry, and is now learning how to operate the CNC saws and carry out block work.

Craig Morton
CNC Sawyer

Craig is an ex-chef who has taken a complete change of direction to come and work with us. Like Libbi, he is being trained on the CNC saws.  After three months at stoneCIRCLE, he has already demonstrated adaptability and an eagerness to explore new horizons.

Josh Hester
CNC Waterjet Operator

Josh came to us from the fast-paced environment of fast food, and has brought an energetic and innovative spirit to the team, since starting his apprenticeship at stoneCIRCLE four months ago. His love for the entire process, from CAD drawings to the hands-on precision of CNC machine programming, makes him a dynamic force in the workshop.

Madeleine McMullin

Madeleine McMullin has many years’ experience in marketing and sales both in the UK and abroad, primarily in Japan and other Far Eastern markets. She has worked with big brand names in the interiors and design industries such as Wedgwood, Denby, Sebastian Conran, Laura Ashley, Hemingway Design, as well as many companies in other sectors.
