still life with stone vol. 1
This series of images is our tribute to the creative abilities and craftsmanship of humans working with the rich materials that Mother Nature provides.
Inspired by the rich seam of still life paintings, and using the most beautiful marbles, granites and other stones, both natural and composite which are our raw material, we have created a series of homages to art and artists.
Take a look at how the different colours, textures and patterns of stone influence the feel and mood of a setting, whether kitchen worktop, bathroom vanity, staircases or other interior space.
ceramic still life with stone, a homage to Barbara Hepworth
The reflective polished surface of the Sodalite Blue marble and the matte background in Airy Concrete quartz create harmony between craftsmanship and nature.
The art of Barbara Hepworth influenced our approach to this composition. The natural patterns of the stone echo the intense workmanship of the artist, while the organic elements offer a contrasting tactile quality.
a tea ceremony
Teapot, bowls and wooden strainers, incense burning, a vase with seasonal flowers. All ready for the ritual of drinking tea while enjoying a conversation with friends.
An ancient ceremony served on a more ancient natural material, like this Avalanche and Statuarietto marble as table top and splashback.
The unique textures and contrast of both marbles perfect the beauty of the objects for which they are used, creating a harmonious whole with their surroundings.
scent sanctuary with rosa extremoz
Rosa Extremoz marble was made to be the backdrop for well-being, pampering and natural beauty rituals – whether on the walls and floors of an upmarket spa, or in your own bathroom.
With its off-white and pink hues, this marble is very versatile used with other stones or teamed with wood in an eclectic style. Rosa Extremoz is also very suitable for swimming pools and even exterior architecture.
